KLENOTA & the Veronika Kašáková Foundation
KLENOTA jewelry has become a part of many life stories, moments of joy and celebrations of love. Now it will be able to help write new chapters in the stories of young adults who are just beginning their journey in life. In collaboration with Veronika Kašáková, the founder of the Veronika Kašáková Foundation, we have designed gold earrings and a baroque pearl necklace that carry not only an aesthetic value but also an important message of support and hope for a better future. We will donate 25% from the proceeds of every piece of jewelry sold as part of this collaboration to the Veronika Kašáková Foundation.
Beauty comes in many forms
When designing this jewelry, we were inspired by the vast variety of life stories, something which is also reflected in the unique look of baroque pearls. We thought about their meaning in design not only as an expression of beauty in diversity, but also as a symbol of purity, love and new beginnings.
Each genuine pearl is unique, with a one-of-a-kind combination of luster, shape, color and tiny imperfections. This is doubly true of baroque pearls however, since their value lies precisely in their distinctive, asymmetrical appearance. Just as no two pearls are exactly the same, no two life stories are identical. Each piece of jewelry thus carries the hidden message that true beauty lies in being unique and in diverse life journeys.
A new chapter in the story
The motto of the VK Foundation is "Children from children’s homes lose their homes twice. The first time when they leave their biological family and the second time when they leave the children’s home. This is a time when they often find themselves in unfavorable situations and are completely on their own."
The Foundation focuses on helping children from children's homes and young people leaving institutional care who need support to integrate into society and live independently. Our aim is to give these children and young adolescents a better start in life and to enable them to reach their full potential.
