Diamond wedding rings

Eternity & half eternity rings
The eternity design is beloved for its endless sparkle and its symbolism of eternal love. Diamonds are set side by side around the entire band for a full eternity ring, or halfway around for a half eternity design.

Chevron rings
Chevron rings feature a pointed design, offering room for creative craftsmanship. Their distinctive shape is perfect for stacking above an engagement ring, creating a striking, modern pairing.

Eternity and half eternity rings
The dazzling sparkle of these beloved rings comes with certain specific considerations that are helpful to know when making your choice:
- Resizing: Eternity rings cannot be resized, while half eternity rings depend on the specific design. We recommend getting your ring size professionally measured prior to investing in an eternity ring.
- Engraving: Due to the amount of space and material dedicated to securing the diamonds, eternity rings cannot be engraved. Half eternity rings, on the other hand, have an unadorned section where engraving is possible, provided the ring is wide enough to accommodate it.
Eternity rings aren’t only defined by the number of diamonds adorning their bands—their variety extends much further. The type of diamond setting refers to the method used to secure the stones in the metal. In essence, there are as many types of eternity rings as there are ways to set diamonds. At KLENOTA, our designs include:
Bead bright - Channel - Bezel - Delicate French V split - Shared prongs (milgrain)
- Shared prong setting: Small metal prongs securely hold diamonds of various shapes and sizes, creating separation that highlights each stone. Variations of prongs, such as the decorative milgrain technique, add ornate metal detailing that frames the diamonds in a unique way.
- Channel setting: Diamonds are nestled snugly between the walls of a metal channel, offering durability and comfort. This setting protects the stones from damage and minimizes snagging on clothing.
- Bezel setting: Each stone is encased in a metal rim, giving the ring a bold and distinctive appearance. Like channel settings, bezels are secure and practical while providing a unique look.
- Delicate French V-split setting: This style features split V-shaped prongs that create a scalloped shape when viewed from the side, allowing maximum light to pass through the stones for enhanced brilliance.
- Bead bright setting (Bright cut pavé): A combination of a slightly beveled channel and prongs. The beveled edge protects the stones while reflecting light at an angle to enhance their sparkle.
- Scallop setting: Prongs are shaped like delicate waves, creating a graceful pattern that accentuates the beauty of each diamond.
- Fishtail setting: This intricate style features side patterns resembling fish tails. It creates the illusion of larger stones and showcases the meticulous craftsmanship of the jeweler.
- Bar setting: A variation of the channel setting where each diamond is separated by a thin metal bar, allowing more light to pass through and enhancing the ring’s sparkle.
How to choose the right ring width
The width of your ring is a highly personal choice. The best way to decide is to try on different widths to see what feels comfortable.
Appearance also plays a role—wider rings may seem bulky on small hands with slender fingers, while they often look more balanced on wider fingers. Consider your usual jewelry style as well. A bold ring is a perfect fit for someone who prefers fewer, statement-making pieces.
Women’s rings
- The most common widths for KLENOTA women’s rings range from 1 to 3 mm.
- If you’re choosing an eternity ring, its width will depend on the size of the stones and the style of their setting.
Scallop (1.3 mm) - Fishtail (2.0 mm) - Bars (2.2 mm) - Shared prongs (2.5 mm)
Men's rings
- The most common widths for KLENOTA men’s rings are between 3 and 5 mm.
- For wider rings (5 mm or more), you may need to size up from your usual size. Wider bands cover more surface area and fit differently than narrower ones.
Wedding band finishes
- Hand carved: A signature KLENOTA hand-engraved design that gives the ring a natural, irregular appearance. Each ring is truly one of a kind thanks to the artisanal craftsmanship.
- Polished: The classic polished surface exudes luxury and timeless elegance. Keep in mind that on wider bands, the shiny surface may show wear more prominently, so regular polishing is recommended.
- Satin: A fine texture creates a matte satin effect. It’s subtle on the hand and helps mask minor scratches over time.
Wedding ring engraving
Your names, your wedding date, a short quote—engraving adds even more meaning to an already personal piece of jewelry. This service is complimentary for wedding rings.
Each ring design is evaluated individually to determine engraving options, as these depend on its width, shape, size, and the placement of stones. When selecting a specific design, feel free to ask—we’ll gladly guide you through the possibilities and explain what’s available for your chosen rings.
What to keep in mind when choosing an engraving
- Suitable ring width: Rings should be at least 1.7–2 mm wide, depending on the font. Some fonts may not be clearly legible on narrow bands, and for engravings with symbols, we recommend a width of 2 mm or more.
- Character limit: The more space there is on the ring without stones, the more characters can be engraved.
- Production time: Wedding rings with engravings take up to 4 weeks to produce from the date of order, while rings without engravings take 3 weeks.
- Resizing rings with engravings: Engravings significantly limit resizing options, especially if the other half of the ring is adorned with stones. We recommend getting your size professionally measured in advance. Resizing will be priced individually if needed.
- Returns and exchanges: Engraved rings are personalized pieces and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- How to order engravings: Include your chosen font number and engraving text in the product notes in your Shopping cart, e.g. font 01, text: With love. We’ll follow up to confirm whether the engraving is possible for your ring.
