Choosing the stone and gold color?
The stone gives an engagement ring its character. It doesn't have to be a classic white diamond – every option has its own appeal.
Natural diamonds
The timeless classic, with brilliant sparkle and exceptional durability. Alongside colorless diamonds, you can also choose fancy-colored stones.
Lab-grown diamonds
Chemically and optically identical to natural diamonds, but grown in a lab. Because they cost less, the same budget usually gets you a bigger stone.
Sapphires
Elegant, durable gemstones that are made for everyday wear. Blue sapphires feel classic, while pink ones are soft and romantic.
Rubies
A deep red ruby is a striking, elegant alternative to a diamond. Ideal for women who love color and jewelry with personality.
What about the shape?
You don't need to know every cut. As a rule of thumb, round stones look classic, ovals and pears look elegant, and elongated shapes make fingers look longer and slimmer. Geometric shapes give a ring a more modern feel.
If in doubt, a round brilliant never goes out of style. Looking for something a little different? Take a look at rings with oval or fancy-cut diamonds too.
Which gold color?
Go with the one she wears most. If she mixes metals, don't overthink it – all three are timeless.

How much should you spend?
Forget the old two- or three-months'-salary rule. There's no right number. Set a budget you're comfortable with, based on what matters most to you in a ring.

Mostly the type, size and quality of the stone, plus the overall craftsmanship of the ring. The biggest or most expensive ring isn't automatically the best one. What matters is that she loves wearing it.

Remember: The price of a ring says nothing about the value of your relationship. What counts is that you chose it with her in mind.
Finding her ring size
Planning a surprise? Discreetly borrow a ring she usually wears on the ring finger of her left hand.
Bring it to our showroom and we'll size it for you, or measure the inside diameter at home and check it against our size chart.
Can't get hold of one of her rings?
Ask her best friend, sister or mom. They might know her size, or be able to find out without giving the game away.

What if it doesn't fit?
It happens. For rings in standard sizes, we'll gladly help with resizing or an exchange. What's possible depends on the design and condition of the ring.

When to order
If you've already picked a date for the proposal, don't leave it until the last minute. Most designs are in stock in common sizes. If we need to make a different size or a design that's currently out of stock, it takes up to three weeks.
